Questions

MustBeTheMusic.app is a music chart you buy your way up, operated by Blue Blip Tech LLC. This page answers what it costs and what it is, so that nobody has to guess.

What does it cost? Listing is free. Rank is the part that costs money: a bid starts at $5 and goes up in whole dollars. You pay once, for the place you take. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
Is there an account? No account, no sign-up and no password. You give a link, a genre and an amount, and that is the whole of it. We never ask for your name or your email address, and there is nowhere on the site to give them to us.
How does ranking work? Entries are placed by what they have paid, highest first. Paying more than the entry above you puts you above it. Bids do not expire, so a place is held until somebody pays past it. Two entries that have paid the same are separated by which was listed first.
What happens if I pay again? Everything a link has paid is added together, and that total is its bid. Raising it is charged as the difference, never the whole amount again, and a link holds one entry no matter how many times it is placed.
Can I list for nothing? Yes. A free entry goes on the chart below every entry that paid, and on an empty genre chart that is still #1.
Is a payment refundable? No. Payments are final and not refundable: the placement is delivered the moment it is paid for, and being passed later is the game working, not a fault. The terms say this in full.
What can I list? A track, a release, an artist page or a show — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, a ticket page or your own site. We read the title and description from the page behind your link. We are not a streaming service and we host no audio ourselves.
Do you offer streaming analytics? No. We count clicks from this chart to your link and nothing else. We do not connect to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or TikTok, and we report no figures from them.
How many genres are there? 2,194, each with a chart of its own, and most of them are still empty.
Who do I write to? support@bluebliptech.com, for anything at all.
