Get the app

MustBeTheMusic installs straight from your browser. There is nothing to download and no store to go through: the chart becomes an icon on your home screen, opens without the browser bars, and keeps its own place in your app switcher.

Your browser installs from its own menu — the steps are below.

iPhone and iPad Open the chart in Safari, tap the share button at the bottom of the screen, scroll down the list and choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Safari is the only browser on iOS that can do this, so if you are in Chrome or Firefox there, open the page in Safari first.
Android Open the chart in Chrome, tap the three dots at the top right and choose Install app, or Add to Home screen on older versions. Chrome often offers it by itself the second time you visit.
Computer Chrome and Edge show an install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar; the same thing sits under Install app in the browser menu. It opens in its own window with no tabs around it.
What you get The chart as you already know it, at full screen. Positions still refresh on their own while it is open, bidding still goes through the same checkout, and it weighs almost nothing because it is the site rather than a copy of it.
Without a signal An installed copy opens and shows the chart it saw last, marked as it was when you last had a connection. Placing or raising a bid needs the network, and the chart you see is only current again once it loads.
Nothing extra is collected Installing changes nothing about what we keep: no account, no notifications, no contacts, no location, no access to anything on your phone. The collection notice covers the installed app exactly as it covers the site.
