What a bid is Whole US dollars, nothing smaller, from $5 up to $999,999, moving $1 at a time. You pay once. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and what you have paid is what your track carries from then on.
How Charts ranks Most money paid goes first. A position holds until somebody pays past it, however long that takes. Two tracks on the same amount keep the order they arrived in, so the one that got there first stays ahead.
Reaching number one Going past the track at the top costs $5 more than it has paid. Less than that still charts — it lands wherever the money puts it.
What Today measures Today ranks on money spent in the last twenty-four hours. A payment counts there for a day from when it clears and then falls away, while staying on Charts for good. Leading Today costs $5 more than the most anyone else has spent inside that window.
Raising a track already on the chart A link holds one entry. Paste the same link again with a higher amount: the raise is at least $1, and checkout takes only the difference between what you have paid and where you are going. Nobody else can take your entry over by paying that difference.
One entry per track On sites that carry many, the path names the track, so two Spotify songs, two Bandcamp releases or two YouTube videos are separate entries holding separate bids. Two links to the same track are one entry, whichever of them you paste.
What belongs here A track, a release or an artist page — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Audiomack, Beatport and the rest — or an X @handle.
Links we turn away Chat and invite links, Telegram and WhatsApp and Discord and Messenger and Signal among them, because this is a chart and not a group. Adult links, whatever they are attached to. Shortened links, which we follow and store as wherever they land.
Tracking comes off Everything after the question mark is dropped at submission, except the one parameter that names the track on YouTube or on Google Play. Affiliate, referral and campaign links lose their tags on the way in.
Payment is final A bid is not refundable, and being passed is not a fault: somebody paying more is the whole point of the chart.
